A Warrant of Fitness (or WOF as it’s better known) is basically a way to make sure the cars on the road are actually roadworthy and not a danger to people. It’s not a full service, so it’s not as thorough, and is required every six months for vehicles 6 years or older, or every 12 months for younger vehicles.

Why get a Warrant of Fitness through Auto Supper Shoppes?

With us, you can rest easy, knowing that as New Zealand’s largest mechanic network, you and your vehicle are in good hands. We’re an established, reliable and above all trusted group. Auto Super Shoppes can complete a WOF inspection at the same time as your vehicle service, saving you both time and money.

All Auto Super Shoppes members have fully sanctioned WoF inspectors. All inspectors are fully qualified, and have years of experience in vehicle mechanics and car servicing. They complete regular updates and liaise with New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) on all current WoF legal requirements.

Getting your car back on the road is important, but what’s more important is your safety. The safety of you and those around you.- your family, pedestrians and other drivers. With an established and reliable name, Auto Super Shoppes up and down the country are helping people from all walks of life, day in and out, making sure their vehicles are safe on the roads. If a car comes through us, you know it’s ok to drive.

If our inspectors find any issues with your vehicle, the repair work can be completed onsite quickly and efficiently by our team of technicians whether in Auckland or anywhere in NZ. Your vehicle will then be re-inspected and a WOF issued.

Did you know: It’s a good idea to combine your WOF and vehicle service, because inspections do not cover all aspects of your vehicle. For example engine, clutch, gearbox and differential; lubricant levels and condition; brake pad thickness or life expectancy; and paint work condition and rust in non-structural areas are not checked in WOF inspections, but they can be checked as part of a vehicle service.
